Chemical Manufacturing - N/A, N/A, BE
European Chemical Regions Network (ECRN) is an association of regional authorities from across Europe. We represent regions where the chemical industry is an integral part of the local economy. We bring together different regional authorities to tackle the challenges by exchanging information and exploring solutions to common problems. As a network of public authorities and with the explicit focus on the chemical industry, ECRN holds a unique position as a platform for exchange and mutual learning on various horizontal issues that influence sectoral policies on chemicals.ECRN is recognized as a European stakeholder for regional issues concerning the chemical industry and related policies. Our activities are coordinated by a Brussels-based Secretariat. We collaborate closely with the European Institutions and chemical stakeholders both at the European and the regional level. Our aim is to improve the competitiveness of chemical regions, facilitate collaboration between regions, and to represent the common interests of the chemical regions in Europe. In addition to the exchange and information sharing between authorities, we have launched an ECRN Project Council to foster closer ties between cluster networks and regional project development institutions to stimulate concrete activities on regional chemical value creation processes. The ECRN Project Council facilitates joint project creation across regions. Our network currently covers chemical regions from Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Poland, and the Netherlands. We are always open for collaboration with new regions and other partners. Feel free to contact us for further information!
