The "European Movement in Artsakh" NGO (EMA) was founded in April 2010 by a group of young professionals, who have studied and worked in Europe.The ultimate goal is to assist in establishing Artsakh's bilateral and multilateral relations with the European institutions and countries. The organization also combines think tank and advocacy instruments and acts as an Information Centre on EU and other European institutions. From January 2011 the organization has been involved in the Artsakh Path Project of the Armenian-British Connect Organization, which has given the EMA an opportunity to have a furnished office and get use of the resources of the Armenian-British Connect NGO (Yerevan), Alpha-Omega NGO (Stepanakert) and Armacad Scientific Network of Armenia (Yerevan).The organization aims to become a corresponding member of the International European Movement in 2011, which will bring a new quality in its cooperation with the international public sector.
