The European Quality Circle (EQC) is a consumer and market-oriented, broad-based organisation that aims to help jewellery retailers bundle and strengthen their financial resources, equip them with better, more effective sales tools and help them to promote and sell their products with greater success to the consumer public. EQC also provides a wide range of targeted education services to the retailers and their staff. EQC coordinates and manages buyers group, as part of their EQC membership, combine their purchasing power. Group buying is especially attractive as individual jewellery businesses look for ways to promote their products to budget-conscious consumers in a weak global economy. Since its inception in 2009, EQC has expanded its range of services and began offering its member service packages, by means of marketing services, organized promotion with wide range of education and specialized training modules, enabling retail jewellers to streamline their businesses, build a loyal clientele, and inspire consumer confidence in their products. EQC endeavours to be the retailers' one-stop-station for all the services and tools that luxury retailers may need in order to improve their business performance, and for their customers, the consumers, to feel comfortable and secure when buying from an EQC retail member.
