EVkids empowers underserved Boston youth with the skills and confidence to succeed in school and life. Tutoring matches low-income, academically vulnerable 4th–12th graders one-on-one with a trained and highly motivated corps of college volunteers who serve as tutors and mentors and typically stay with the same student for multiple years. The tutor-tutee pairs are closely supported by professional staff who manage family engagement and provide school advocacy, including creating individual development plans for each tutee in consultation with their teachers. Camp offers a summer camp opportunity in the Green Hills of Vermont. College Success matches our graduates with 1-on-1 college success mentors.
