Event Professionals of Manitoba (EPM) exists to support and advocate for event planning as a profession and serves to connect and educate local event professionals, suppliers and venues. EPM is proud to be inclusive of and affordable for event professionals in all capacities, and facilitates the growth of relationships, mentorships and networking opportunities. Following is some further information on EPM.Mission: to promote professionalism to event coordinators and raise awareness on obtaining certification within the industry; to advocate the value of events as a profession.Vision: to adhere to the practice of national standards as outlined by Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council.Goal: to achieve our mission by providing leadership training, networking opportunities, and to support local services.One of the most exciting things about EPM is our newly formed partnership with MTEC, which will benefit our membership with relevant education and professional development in the event industry.
