Founded by brothers Ciaran and Stephen Devine in 2009, Evermore Energy is an energy generation company operating across the UK and Ireland.Evermore Energy was established to initiate, develop and finance strategic infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. The business is focused on changing the way energy is both generated and consumed. Evermore Energy developed and financed the £83m Lisahally Biomass Combined Heat and Power Station. This Biomass CHP plant is Ireland's largest renewable energy power station. The Lisahally Biomass plant generates renewable electricity for over 30,000 homes and businesses and has one of of the highest availabilities of any biomass plant in in Europe.Evermore Energy are developing a new state of the art 480MW CCGT power station at the Belfast Harbour Estate. This £280m project will generate reliable and flexible energy for over 500,000 homes and businesses across the province. Once constructed the Belfast Power Station will be one of the most efficient power stations in the UK and will provide much needed security of supply to the grid once it becomes operational in 2021.Evermore Energy are also involved in energy storage projects at strategic locations across the Irish grid network.
