EWM's signature program, Power Lunch, will be offered at 13 schools in the Twin Cities metro area this year, bringing together over 1,000 students and 1,000 corporate volunteers for weekly one-on-one literacy-mentoring sessions. Through Power Lunch, volunteers read with elementary school students for 30 minutes, once a week, in order to ignite within children a passion for reading that exists outside of school, increasing their prospects for success in school and life.
