We help getting people out of harms way.We do this through making new lifting technology, using state of the art solutions and improving logistical systems. We have found that we are of most value to our customers when we are able to increase safety through making unmanned lifting operations possible, together with increasing efficiency, lowering unwanted incidents in lifting operations and solving logistical bottlenecks. This is important because there are inherent risks to personnel and equipment during lifting operations. Half of the significant events in the oil- and gas industry are related to crane- and lifting operations. 10 out of 16 fatal accidents between 1994 and 2017 were related to crane- and lifting operations (helicopter accidents not included In 2014, a total of 240 injuries causing work hour losses were reported for permanently placed offshore facilities alone on the Norwegian Continental Shelf – 80% of these were related to lifting operations.
