Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) uses scientific behavior modification for children with autism and other diagnoses, to teach them how to behave and communicate in socially appropriate ways. We work on extinguishing problem behaviors, while teaching skill acquisition to help the child thrive and be successful in the community, at school, and at home. ABA therapy is considered the most effective evidence-based best practice treatment by the U.S. Surgeon General and by the American Psychological Association.
