EXACTA Science Translation is based in Vancouver, Canada, and it provides high-quality scientific and technical translation services, from English into Spanish, and vice-versa. About Valeria Vergara, Director and Translator: I grew up in Argentina, where I completed my junior year of Biology at the University of Buenos Aires. In 1988 I moved to Ontario, Canada, to study Biology, aided by a full-time Canadian International Development Agency scholarship. I have an extensive scientific trajectory, have published several papers in refereed journals, and have written articles for the general public, both in English and Spanish. Since 2006, I have combined my science background and bi-lingual writing skills to translate all aspects of environmental and social impact assessments into both languages, including baseline studies for terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems, wildlife and vegetation monitoring and management plans, risk analyses, air quality controls, water quality studies, soil and site evaluations, erosion and sediment control, waste management, noise management, and public consultation plans.
