Our mission at Excel Academy is to provide our students with excellent tutoring and mentorship, suffused with ample opportunities to develop critical thinking skills. Because each of our classes emphasizes active participation and engagement between student and student, student and teacher, and student and curriculum--some of which can be quite challenging--our students will gain the critical skills required to become better problem solvers, decision-makers, and contributors to society.In 2015, Brandon Kim, owner and operator of Excel Academy, opened the Las Vegas learning center because he loves knowledge and learning, and he wanted to share this love with his community. Inspired to found a learning center unlike the others, he hires only highly-qualified teachers with at least a Bachelor's degree and teaching experience. In addition, Mr. Kim recognized that parents were unable to track their children's progress on a regular basis at other learning centers, nor did they know the content of each tutoring session. As such, all teachers at Excel Academy provide an online report of each class every day, to which all parents have immediate access.Each class reviews or introduces a new topic while ensuring previous topics are followed, so students will have mastered their work before moving onto the next topic. To that end, we regularly provide quizzes and exams so teachers can advance or review as necessary, as our program is centered around student needs and goals.Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to inspire you!
