At Excellence in Recovery (EIR), we provide therapeutic interventions rooted in healthy confrontation with love and respect for everyone involved. Our interventions are based on the ARISE model. The key ingredient in each story is that the family or friend becomes motivated to change: We do not only give you education on the disease of addiction, and other mental health disorders; we help you accept that you did not cause this, you can't control it, nor can you cure this. We facilitate interventions for disorders across the spectrum of mental health and behavioral disorders: Alcohol and drug abuse, eating disorders, sexual addiction, mental health disorders, and gambling addiction. While it may be tempting to try a standardized set of methods on every addict/struggling individual, it is not a productive route to take especially involving interventions. Let us help you with our professional experience and variety of techniques. EIR's two interventionist: Matt Long and Kenneth not only attended the ARISE Certification Course, but both of them hold Masters Degree in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies. Matt has worked as an Addictions Counselor at Arkansas Drug Court. Kenneth has completed coursework at Adler Graduate School of Addiction Studies towards licensure in Marriage and Family Counseling and Art Therapy. We travel nationwide.
