EXPLORER PRESCHOOL Details
Explorer is a parent-participation preschool where children, at an individual pace, learn and develop through play, while parents hone their skills as child educators. A part of the South Bay Community for over 40 years, Explorer offers a rich curriculum that includes pre-reading, dramatic play, art, music, cooking, science and nature--including a pre-K outdoor classroom at Vasona Park. Explorer has a low student to parent-teacher ratio (1:3 to 1:4) and credentialed teachers with degrees in education and child development with more than 40 years combined teaching experience. Explorer hosts an open house annually the first week in February.
