Explorer Travels is a young company that offers informal educational trips to Eastern and Central European countries. The main focus of the company is to minimize the threshold for young people to visit these relatively undiscovered places. This threshold is reduced by offering a product that provides all necessities and guidance to discover these destinations and limits the difficulties of visiting these places to the simple question: yes or no. The focus of the trips is to offer a perspective on subjects like culture, mentality and daily life, from a local's point of view, to create an unique experience. A second important aspect of the trips is to offer the ultimate convenience and comfort, for a reasonable and honest price. Altogether should this set of values result in an unique experience and strengthen the mutual understanding between Eastern and Western European cultures.The goal of strengthening mutual understanding between Western and Eastern European cultures derives from the fact that there are still many misunderstandings and prejudices in Western Europe about Eastern European culture and people. Due to globalisation and the growing importance of Easter-European economies one will likely come in contact with these cultures. So, in our opinion you will have a great advantage when you are known with customs and traditions from these regions.
