The Explorium is the only Children's Museum in Kentucky. Located in Lexington, the Explorium was started in 1990, by Lexington Fayette Urban Council. The Explorium has 9 discovery centers, and an Art Studio for families. Located in the heart of downtown Lexington the Explorium sees over 75,000 visitors a year.
