The mission of Extended Families of Nebraska (EFN) is to provideindividuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities theopportunity to lead fulfilling lives, utilizing the most natural settingspossible, to achieve their maximum potential which promotes theirdevelopment and success in the community.Extended Families of Nebraska (EFN) focuses its supports onextended family home, while also providing in-home services andvocational services in Lincoln. We support individuals through EFH inthe Lincoln and Omaha areas, as well as smaller communities such asLaurel and Bertrand. EFN aims to provided high quality habilitativeservies in natural settings, which provide the individuals we servewith the best opportunity to develop relationships and realize theirfull potential. EFN's administrative team has an average of 22 yearsof experience in the DD field, giving them efficiency, knowledge, andgrace in handling any situation that may arise.EFN believes that building, fostering, andmaintaining positive healthy relationships arethe basis for human growth and development.We ensure each individual served is providedwith both the right and responsibility to bean active participant in the service planningprocess. We expect, foster, and promote anattitude of dignity and respect towards thepeople we serve and those in their lives.
