ExtraPlate is a food marketplace connecting sellers and consumers through an app on iPhone and Android. We focus on creating a convenient and safe way to deliver new food options while making other options more accessible. ExtraPlate was founded with an emphasis on building a powerful community. We believe there's something inherently special about a homecooked meal, an often inaccessible option that should be more easily available. We believe in a more reachable market for fresh ingredients, where, by way of an online farmer's market, even the every day urban farmer has an outlet to share the wealth of their garden with their neighbors. And food trucks, whom we support by providing a way for their customers to view their current location, and a way to place online orders using our cashless technology. We're here to promote good people, the marriage of love and food, and real human connections through each experience.
