Extruwood produces recycled plastic profiles which may be used for multiple applications, namely pallets, decking and outdoor furniture. These profiles (which are also often referred to as planks) are made from recycled polyethylene. This plastic is post- consumer waste which would have otherwise become a part of the South African waste stream. (In other words plastic salvaged from South Africa's heavily burdened landfill sites, thus fulfilling our government's reuse mandate in the recycling chain).
