eYamakan simplifies access to any location on a map. Users are able to accurately mark and navigate to any location through the assignment of a permanent, global numeric identifier. Although Global Positioning System technology of navigation coordinates have become an every- day convenience, it isn't always easy to communicate exactly where you are or need to be.Your destination or location may be a confusing address, an unnamed street, or unnumbered building. Perhaps the map is in a different language. eYamakan replaces the need to use street addresses to describe physical locations. It enables GPS based navigation systems to become more relevant and useful in countries where conventional addresses are not reliable. The solution is a touch-enabled marker in a digital map. When a location is marked by an eYamakan identifier, the map generates a permanent reference and has the capability of navigating to that location.
