In 1969, the first EZ Take Out Burger opened at the corner of historic Route 66 and Central Avenue in Upland, California, a small town 40 miles east of Los Angeles. The premise was simple: Fresh, high quality hamburgers, fresh crisp leaf lettuce, freshly baked hamburger buns, straight from the farm tomatoes, their own secret sauce plus real milkshakes and hot French fries.The business philosophy was simple:"Proven quality, made fresh for you"The menu was simple: We prefer to do a few things well! We just won't give in to the temptation to be all things to all people. The great burger, chicken sandwich, fries,and a real ice cream milk shake remain the cornerstone of our menu. Our top quality ingredients and burgers are made to order. We do not own microwaves or heat-lamps.
