The Football Australia (FA) Women's Football Council was established in late 2018, as a FIFA requirement of the FA restructure. The Women's Football Council is enshrined in FA Constitution and votes in Congress. It is made up of three delegated each from Clubs, Associations and the Player's Member, as well as an independent chair. The Council has a powerful voice through the 10 votes it holds at Congress, which can be used as a block or individually.
