Fabiola's intricate and whimsical dresses and gowns can now be found in Neiman Marcus' Couture Salon across the country.Fabiola Arias is designed and manufactured in New York City.THE DESIGNERFabiola was born on June 19, 1987, in Havana, Cuba. Growing up in the home of artists, she watched her mother, Anilu Oms, create her costume design illustrations, feeling inspired to do her own. Through her mother, Fabiola discovered fashion.Oms' beautiful headpieces are now a part of Arias' collections. Fabiola's father was a big influence in her life as well. In Cuba, he was a filmmaker and his love of Hollywood's golden era of the 1950s has influenced the classic and feminine silhouettes in her designs.From an early age, Fabiola knew she would create art. She studied at Miami's Design & Architecture Sr. High School (DASH) where painting, drawing, and sculpting became her loves and she discovered her passion to create with her hands. Fabiola uses these mediums as a designer, because she believes in creating beautiful clothing in the same way as creating art.
