With its inception in July 1995, the agency started providing Arkansas Better Chance center-based preschool program to children (ages 3 to 5) and their families at Bearden, Magnolia, Strong, and Taylor. With the added granteeship of Head Start in 1996, and Early Head Start in 1999, a wide array of program options opened up to serve the low-income, disadvantaged families of our five county service area. Through competitive applications, the additional Arkansas Better Chance for School Success (ABCSS) program classrooms were added in the fall of 2004 in El Dorado and Camden. In 2014, F.A.C.T, Inc's service area extended into Bradley, Lafayette, and Nevada counties. Many of our staff have tenure exceeding 10 years, as they were employees with the former Head Start and ABC grantee.Services are provided for 1,025 children.
