Factions: Battlegrounds is tabletop game in which players take on the role of Generals leading armies of troops, spellcasters, beasts and mythological monsters into battle. Generals create a battleground (that is unique every game!), gather resources, and try to score points by eliminating enemy units. Length of a battle: 30-40 minutesPlayers: 2-4When will it be available? Kickstarter in 2020!Our mission with Factions: Battlegrounds is to create a fun, multiplayergame that is centered on inclusion and diversity. We want everyone to feel represented in the fantasy genre and we want our game to reflect that. Our goal is to put audiences traditionally underrepresented in gaming first by incorporating mythology from all over the world, having a staff and leadership team that consists primarily of People of Color, and representing traditionally European based fantasy elements with underrepresented cultural elements.
