FACTORY, (previously known as Factory 1611) is an international art & design studio specialising in branding & activation, experience led design, spatial design and build, digital design, and fine art. Founded in Singapore, we have worked with a variety of clients ranging from public-listed corporations, government sectors, education institutes, museums, galleries, small medium enterprises and startups; across diverse fields including FMCG, retail, fashion, food and beverages and manufacturing etc.We believe good art can depict and express an experience, whereas good design should successfully communicate a function or a message. Good art absorbs good design principles, whereas good design can be conveyed through striking artistic values. The distinctions between art & design are often blurred in our works to create effective communication projects across all mediums.In 2017, FACTORY opened its first regional branch in Shenzhen, China, and in 2020, its second in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
