Arts and Crafts - Madrid, N/A, ES
New York emerging art has had headquarters in Madrid since the end of 2019. That was the year in which the Fahrenheit Madrid opened its doors with the intention of forging a space of freedom for painting, photography and other artistic disciplines, whose top priority was to establish a warm, direct and two-way contact between the concern and talent of the best emerging artists on the New York stage and the Madrid sensibility, always open and attentive to the avant-garde.Fahrenheit Madrid gallery was born as a meeting point to enjoy the artistic trends of the main world capitals. Its mission is to concentrate in Madrid a sample of the true spirit of our time with an international and cross-cultural focus. To welcome the new vision, the new registers and, ultimately, the current language of emerging art in New York City, as well as to favor the transatlantic dialogue between the two cities, a space was designed with a large showcase and an area in which visitors would feel comfortable, well received and predisposed to unravel the subtleties of their artistic proposals. In addition, the location of the gallery, an open space on Justiniano Street, a hot meeting point between gallery owners and art fans, also contributed to the achievement of this purpose. However, this extraterritorial headquarters of the New York avant-garde in the Madrid neighbourhood of Justicia feeds on the cosmopolitan spirit and the restless cross-cultural energy of the American city, although it supports female production, it is open if not open to any interesting, vigorous artistic proposal capable of enriching the exchange, wherever it comes from. The Madrid gallery Fahrenheit Madrid was born in 2019 directed by Valeria Aresti.
