Fairtrade Yorkshire is the campaign for a Fairtrade Region. Fairtrade Yorkshire aims to bring together Fairtrade activists and supporters across the region.Building on work done by the Fairtrade Yorkshire Project, which ended in March 2008, a group of activists have gathered together to create ‘Fairtrade Yorkshire'. The group is still in its early stages, existing as a group of volunteers. Working with the Fairtrade Foundation we want to bring together all those involved in the Fairtrade movement within the region. Many towns and cities within our region already have Fairtrade status, with many more working toward it.
