FDAMH is an independent mental health charity serving Falkirk and District. We promote mental wellbeing by providing a range of services and acknowledging that recovery is a unique voyage of self-discovery and personal growth.FDAMH supports individuals aged 16 and over, their families and carers - we also provide counselling to young people aged 14 and over from across Forth Valley.FDAMH's Training Academy shares our wealth of experience by providing training to individuals, businesses, third sector organisations and education across Central Scotland and beyond. FDAMH's services include: Immediate Help (without appointment), Counselling and Employee Counselling, Befriending, Social Prescribing, Family Support, Health and Wellbeing Drop-In, Activities and Self-Development Courses, and Support Groups for carers and those bereaved by suicide. We are extremely proud and grateful to have over 100 specially trained volunteers helping us to support our community. We benefit from a team of immensely experienced and dedicated staff who are always ready to face the next challenge. Funding from the statutory sector only covers a portion of what it costs to provide our services - the rest is dependent on your donations, income we generate ourselves and tireless bids to other grant-awarding bodies.
