The Versailles-Woodford County Parks and Recreation Department is a local department funded by the City of Versailles & the Woodford County Fiscal Court. A Board of Directors is appointed by both fiscal agents to oversee operations. The Department runs numerous recreational programs for the community as well as operates and maintains the Falling Springs Arts and Recreation Center, a community center housing basketball courts, a fitness center, swimming pools and more! The Versailles-Woodford County Parks and Recreation Department exists to provide all Woodford County residents affordable recreational and leisure opportunities in a safe and healthy environment, to provide physical resources to enhance their quality of life, and to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
