Families for Freedom (FFF) is a New York City based human rights organization founded and led by immigrants with criminal convictions facing and fighting deportation. As an organizing support center for targeted communities, we support immigrants and their families through grassroots organizing, direct support and assistance, public education and leadership development of community members at risk of and undergoing detention and deportation proceedings – as well as their families. FFF's central tenet is that those who are directly affected by these issues must lead the movement to change unjust detention and deportation practices that are currently separating our families.
