Family Concepts Center is committed to building healthy, socially and economically secure and productive families. The Center's approach is that of "Integrated, holistic life cycle approach" that is anchored in eight family functions. Through partnerships, individual, family and community engagement and participation we endeavor to address community issues by adding value to each of the functions of the family. Added value through health, socialization, education, nutrition, safety and security, environmental management, family income and spiritual alignment will create resilient families that are able to function in the face of adversity and stressful events.OUR VISIONAt Family Concepts Center we envision a society where there is no poverty, no hunger, and people enjoy good health and wellbeing; A society in which women and men are treated equally and fairly, and the weak and vulnerable are propped and protected.OUR MISSIONBuilding healthy, social, economically secure and productive families.OUR TARGET GROUPFamily Concepts Center works with and for children, adolescent girls and boys and women from vulnerable families and communities to address social, cultural, economic and environmental issues that affect their health and well being. Vulnerable families and communities include; Families with low incomes, large families, young parent families, sole parent families, families from culturally and geographically hard-to reach communities, families with a parent or dependents with a disability, families with orphans and vulnerable children and families or communities at risk of Gender-based violence and violence against children.
