In July 2017, the USDA Forest Service National Forests in Florida (NFF) and Florida A&M University (FAMU) entered into a partnership to establish the Center for Spatial Ecology and Restoration (CSER) on the FAMU campus in Tallahassee, FL.MISSIONTo foster sustainable and efficient land stewardship using innovative geospatial technology and solutions.VISIONDevelop and implement scientifically sound geospatial solutions to transform data into environmentally relevant information to advance sustainable and efficient land management. CSER provides the ideal academic-government-industry framework to address ecological challenges and to train the next generation of environmental professionals.
