Fancy French Cologne was a collaboration between Christine Bolghand and Carly Schneider-Clark between 2009 and 2013. The two met in San Francisco in 2004 where they formed an indie rock band called Finest Dearest. After several releases and countless tours across the United States, the band called it quits and the girls went on to launch Fancy French Cologne as their next adventure together. Opening its doors in 2010, Fancy French Cologne set out to bring a unique perspective to the online shopping experience - one that conjured the intimacy of browsing your favorite local boutique. In keeping with the spirit of many local boutiques in San Francisco, Fancy French Cologne celebrated emerging designers and was known for its carefully curated selection of accessories within the shop's Entre Nous collection. In fact, many items in the Entre Nous collection were the product of collaboration between Fancy French Cologne and the designer - you couldn't find them anywhere else! This included a highly coveted Downton Abbey-themed silk scarf and a killer limited-edition dress based on the film Breathless. Today Christine can be found blogging at Corporate Neon, while Carly is busy at work on an exciting new project.
