A straw might seem small, but its impact on the environment is huge. Europe uses 36,4 billion plastic straws per year. To give you an image: these are enough straws to circle around the earth 2.5 times! And did you know that it takes 2 seconds to make a straw, 2 minutes to use and 200 years to decompose into micro-plastics that will pollute our ocean forever?This is why we as FanSea thinks it's strange that there is no good alternative to plastic straws yet. We came up with eco-positive FanSea straws: straws made out of seaweed. A product from the ocean, for the ocean.
