The 100th running of the Far Hills Race Meeting – the country's most prestigious steeplechase event and one of New Jersey's beloved social events -- will be held Saturday, Oct. 16th at Moorland Farm in Far Hills, NJ. The event is cosponsored by Open Road Auto Group and Peapack-Gladstone Bank to benefit Healthcare in the RegionThe highlight of the day's six races is the Grand National, steeplechasing's richest race which draws a highly competitive field of premier horses from around the world. Spectators create unique and often extravagant fall picnic areas in their reserved parking spots, complete with beautiful floral center pieces, haybale seating, ice carvings and culinary feasts.
