Farm2Fridge Ballito was born out of the Corona Pandemic which left one of its Founders, Mike Mason, an Airline Pilot, unemployed. There was a demand for good quality, traceable meat and food products on the North Coast of KwZulu Natal and the first stock was sourced from Mpumalanga in June 2020. The processing is carried out by the co-Founder, Mark Trollip, Mike's cousin, who also holds the secret to the best tasting Boerewors (Beef Sausage) in South Africa. As the demand grew, so more suppliers were added.
