Farmright Ltd (part of The Farmright Group Ltd) is a dairy and beef company, which focuses on driving innovation through the management of joined up supply chains. By using standardised inputs, in combination with long term management contracts, Farmright supply chains are able to deliver high quality products that are designed to meet customer requirements. Farmright manage the supply of 200m litres of milk per year, part of which is supplied to the Group's processing site in the South West of England as well as to other customers. By using patented feed technology within the supply chain, Farmright are able to alter the fatty acid composition of milk and as such they can naturally enhance the levels of EPA and DHA in milk and can also reduce the level of saturated fat by up to 20%, without any significant impact on transfats. Due to the feed technology deployed, Farmright are able to offer a unique solution to the production of functional dairy products. Milk with lower saturated fat can be processed into cream, butter and cheese to be used as dairy ingredients in food manufacturing. Farmright also manage supply chains that rear and finish beef calves and, by retaining ownership of the animal throughout its' life as well as managing inputs including feed, animal health and welfare, they can produce beef that has a consistent eating quality in terms of tenderness, succulence and flavour.
