FarmSmart aims to develop the capacity of smallholder farmers to thrive off any plot of land and create a world where farmers are thriving, healthy and happy. Providing tailored recommendations for farmers based on location, soil-type, season and irrigation access – the app provides a powerful source of knowledge to smallholder farmers online and offline. It includes links to chat and marketing features, allowing the farmers to communicate, share information and eventually sell their produce on the market. It provides all this in an accessible, simple, intuitive and progressive medium. FarmSmart is being developed in partnership with Amido.
