Fashion Redefining Justice (FRJ) is a creative international youth development organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, with regional offices planned in select Sub-Saharan African cities. Our mission is to provide livelihood and life skills training in the global fashion industry to adolescent vulnerable children, thereby giving them the life skills they need to become healthy, socially empowered, and economically independent adults. We envision the fashion industry as an innovative, sustainable economic development tool that creates self-sufficiency through opportunity, redefining the image of justice for adolescent vulnerable children and for the world. Many organizations that advocate for vulnerable children overlook the needs of adolescents. This demographic requires tailored programs to provide the support and skills they need to become healthy adults. FRJ fills this problematic gap with unique livelihood and life skills training centered on the fashion industry. This special emphasis contributes to the global goal of fighting inequality and injustice, and of ending extreme poverty by 2030.
