Football Club Zeleznik 1930, within its existing infrastructure, tries to enable quality development of children athletes. An important aspect of their development is education, which is often neglected by athletes. In order to help children athletes, as well as parents in the currently challenging economic situation due to the consequences of the pandemic, FK Zeleznik 1930 wants to provide English language classes as part of the membership fees charged for football. The idea is based on the concept of training and education of children who, after completing the program, could apply for sports and academic scholarships in USA.Given that a very small number of athletes continue to engage in professional sports, such a program would provide most participants with the opportunity for quality education.Certainly, mastering a foreign language will benefit athletes no matter where their sporting destiny takes them. The club made its solo European appearance in the 2004–05 UEFA Cup and went on to win the Serbia and Montenegro Cup in the same season
