Elizabeth (Beth) Federici is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and television producer. Most recently she directed, wrote and co-produced the feature documentary "James Beard: America's First Foodie" which chronicles the life of the original titan of taste, James Beard. The film was co-produced with the PBS series American Masters and had its broadcast debut in May 2017 where it was seen by over a million viewers. The film was also awarded the audience award for Best Documentary at the 2017 Sonoma International Film Festival. Her 2010 feature documentary "Space, Land and Time: Underground Adventures with Ant Farm" premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival, and was awarded the 2010 Cine Golden Eagle Award. Her credits also include the documentary "Neither Here Nor There" (co-director/producer/editor) which was awarded the "Best of the Heartland" award at the Kansas City Film Festival and was broadcast on Missouri PBS. She also produced the award winning concert film "Bauhaus Gotham". In addition to her work as a filmmaker, Beth is also a dedicated media educator, teaching media literacy theory and media production skills to students all over the country. She currently works as a freelance Producer and Director in Portland Oregon and was recently nominated for a NW Regional Emmy Award for her work for Oregon Public Broadcasting.
