Feed Your Flat was created during the 2019 Future City Builders program Presented by Evergreen in partnership with YouthfulCities and Championed by RBC Future Launch as a solution to address food security in the city of Calgary.At Feed Your Flat, we believe that urban dwellers should have simple access to growing their own food at home. Although Calgary has numerous community gardens, they tend to have lengthy waitlists and can be intimidating for a first time gardener. Feed Your Flat makes starting your first balcony or small space garden simple, reconnecting urban dwellers to their food system and the natural world in an intimate way.
