Ferds Engineering, established by Mr Ferdinand Desouza ,began with the manufacture of Precision Components and Sub-assemblies.The components and sub-assemblies are manufactured in metals like Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper and Aluminium as well as Plastics like Delrin, PTFE, Nylon, PVC and PP. The firm then ventured into manufacture of Special Purpose Machines for processing of Asbestos and PTFE in a wide range of applications.Having concern for nature, environment and the earth, Ferds Engineering commenced a new vertical of manufacturing Shredders and Chipper Shredders. These include Garden Shredders, Agricultural Shredders, Organic Shredders, and Chipper Shredders.. Various materials like Grass, Leaves, Twigs, Branches, Shrubs, Coconut Palms, Coconut Husk, Coconut shell, Paper,Cardboard and Kitchen Waste can be easily and economically shredded in our machines. The Organic waste output from the Shredder is ideal for compostingOur Shredders and Chipper Shredders are designed by experienced engineers and tailor made to suit local conditions. The machines are manufactured from the best quality imported and indigenous material in a fully equipped modern workshop having a wide range of Machine tools and Inspection equipment. Each part of the machine passes strict Quality Control and the machine undergoes extensive trials before dispatch.Our inherent strength is the capability to develop products from the drawing board to the commercial prototype. Design, development and manufacture are done in-house.Ferds Engineering is a follower of good business practices. We have a large base of satisfied customers both in the private & public sector.
