Ferox virtual reality has been utilizing simulation technologies for treating the patient's anxiety disorders. We are providing a novel approach for conducting exposure treatment that is Virtual Reality Exposure Treatment (VRET), in which patients are immersed inside a PC generated 3D environment or Virtual Condition (VC) that updates normally to the user head and furthermore body movement. VR Exposure treatment includes all the possible situations for accelerating the treatment which was not possible to reach in the Exposure treatment.We are developing 3D environments for phobia therapy that are similar to the real world situations for the assistance of psychotherapist. Furthermore, we are using Kinect sensor to map the user gestures with 3D animated Avatar to increase the immersion.
