A project to build an open-air theatre in the Alpujarra mountains in southern Spain using the traditional skills and knowledge of the local community and materials found naturally in the area in its construction. The aim is to create a beautifully crafted space for the local community that can be used to attract tourism to the area and, in the process, broaden the culture activity on offer to this small, rural community. Our story : Have you ever had a crazy idea and just done it anyway? A small rural community, tucked away in the mountains, faces big challenges in today's Spain. And sometimes only a creative, quirky solution will do. This is a place where people are still in touch with their roots. And the traditions and customs are kept alive. Where they still work the land and grow their own olives and almonds. And we think there are people out there who would love to discover this hidden corner of Spain.
