Festivals From India is the first-ever online platform that showcases arts and culture festivals from the country and shares them with the world. The digital portal will attract new audiences online and offline and promote cultural tourism, with the India-UK consortium leading the way. FFI will focus on festivals that represent the modern diversity of India, geographically and linguistically. It will also support gender equality, inclusivity, sustainability, and developing skills.Festivals From India is supported by the British Council as part of its Festivals for the Future programme, which brings emerging and established festivals together to connect, create and collaborate on international projects, with the vision to strengthen the creative economy of both countries and enable sustainable capacity building in India and the UK.
