Visual artist Jennie O (O'Keefe) and theatre artist and producer Andraea Sartison, together are Fête Jockey- Winnipeg's most inventive events company. Our combined resumes boasts two decades of events and cultural management and production for diverse audiences- from private dinners to multi-day public music festivals for 60,000 Winnipeggers. Beyond the work we do - FJ is committed to supporting other artists through their business. Fête Jockey is run by two artists, and committed to hiring artists as subcontractors and additional event staff. This is our way of supporting self-employed artists who can benefit from additional income on short-term contracts. Artists are their own business- and thus we have a diverse skill set and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once (plus we work very well in tight budgets!). We are, and we hire artists who are, creative problem solvers, dedicated workers, full of energy and jacks/jackies of all trades. We are committed to investing 3% of our annual earnings back into new, local art endeavors by Winnipeg artists.
