FIABCI, The International Real Estate Federation founded in 1951 in Paris, is a global business networking organization for all professionals associated with the real estate industry. Located in more than 70 countries, through its 49 national and multinational chapters, FIABCI represents more than 99 associations, 95 academic and public institutions, 2300 regular members and over 1 million associate members. For about 70 years FIABCI has provided access and opportunities for real estate professionals interested in gaining knowledge, sharing information and conducting international business with each other. In 1971 FIABCI obtained Roster and in 1996 Special consultative status at the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. Within the framework of the New Urban Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UN-Habitat and FIABCI cooperate for the implementation of City Prosperity Initiative (CPI). The objective of CPI is to access sustainable urban development of cities.
