We love animals. I grew up in South Western Germany, where we shared our home with a beautiful German Shepard named Assie, and a playful Boxer named Barry. Barry was the first puppy I trained when I was 12 years old, and as you might expect he was highly active and mischievous. It was a very challenging yet rewarding experience that really fostered a love of animals early on in my life.Our most recent dog was an Australian Cattle-dog mix, named Mona. We adopted Mona, who was only with us for a little over three years. Sadly, she developed an aggressive form of cancer, and both her vet and the animal cancer clinic could not offer any help. We tried everything from natural remedies to more unconventional treatments, however, a few months later Mona passed away leaving a big void, in our lives.After Mona, my husband Dan and I decided not to get another dog, but we agreed that caring for animals is what we love to do, so we decided to start Fido & Feline Holidays and Daycare in Guelph, Ontario. It's a way of helping friends and family look after their beloved animals, but also of making new connections and developing friendships with our clients. You can trust your fury friends with us, we'll care for them like they're part of our family. - Anja Gangur
