HOW WE DEFINE "INNOVATION."Innovation is a practice. It is a set of skills and tools to help humanity go from challenge to solution faster, more effectively, make existing solutions better, find a less expensive way to do it, and sometimes create an entirely new solution. FIT's Inventors and Innovators use innovation to help save lives, property, and get to post-disaster ‘normal' as quickly as possible.WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? Time is critical in disaster response.
